Eid ul Adha will be on Tuesday 07/20/2021 Inshaa’Allah

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Eid-ul-Adha: Tuesday, July 20, 2021

Based on completing 30 days of Dhul-Qadah, the month of Dhul-Hijjah starts on the evening of July 10, and Yaum-e-Arafat, will be on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Accordingly, Eid-ul-Adha will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Details on Eid prayer arrangements will be sent next week In-Shaa-Allah.

The Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) said the following about the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The people asked, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) responded, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight, giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing.” (Bukhari).

Eid Prayers

The Greater Austin Ramadan and Eid Coordination Committee has decided to hold Eid-ul-Adha prayers at our local Islamic Centers (ICBC, ICGA, ICLT, ICRR, and NAMCC). Details on Eid prayer arrangements will be announced next week In-Shaa-ALLAH.

Here is the Salat ul Eid Guidelines for ICGA:

Eid Prayer will take place in each Masjid. Here is ICGA Eid Prayer information:

1. Takbeer will begin at 8AM and Salah at 8:40 with Sh Haseeb Nur.we have enough space for 155 parking spaces. Please, please carpool.

2. After 8:15AM we will begin to close the gate if we are full on parking. WE WILL HAVE SHUTTLE SERVICE AT Bartholomew Municipal Pool Parking Lot ( 1.5 Minutes from the Masjid) Located at 1800 E. 51st St. Austin, TX, 78723.

3. Eid Salaah will InshAllah be outside if weather permits, Salaah will begin at 8:30AM, and may squeeze a few minutes extra.

4. Candy and toys for our little ones inshaa’Allah.
