Youth Soccer

Assalaamu alaikum

ICGA returns with its improved soccer program insha’Allah. This program is for youth, ages 7-12.

Goals:

• This program teaches players the basics of the game in youth soccer.
• Players will learn skills and rules of soccer by maximizing play through practices and games.
• We inspire players through a fun based style of play.
• Our goal is that every player will develop a solid foundation in order to thrive, excel, and find success in whatever they aspire to do – both on and off the field!

Notes:

Please bring a soccer ball for your child(ren) to all for individual drill practicing, and please bring a water bottle. The Masjid will provide extra balls and water just in case as well.

 Schedule:

Time 1:00pm – 2:30pm

 Warm up by stretching

 Skill lesson explained (one drill per week)

• Dribbling

• Passing

• Ball Control

• Defense
